Unless you’re completely offline or living in the depths of your borough, you’ve picked up on the rise of new private members clubs taking over the city. Private clubs aren’t a new trend for New York, but these new clubs make membership attractive to millenials and gen z. Uptown has always had its landmarked clubs such as the Metropolitan Club, the New York Athletic Club and any of the university clubs. However, places like Zero Bond and Casa Cipriani have drawn in younger members making them the newest hot spots for nights out and networking.

One of the biggest topics I always get asked about is private clubs; what they’re like, how you get in and if they’re even worth joining in the first place. I’m not a member at any, but I’ve been to a lot, so I’m here to give the unfiltered information on whether they really are as great and fun as they’re made out to be.
